Saving Money

Jonathan and I are trying to save money right now in case I don't have a job next year. We have only done one small thing so far but it has had a big impact on our life. Drum roll please... We got rid of our cable tv package. We didn't just have the basic package we had several extra options added. This included extra sports channels and a movie package. So we only have basic tv now. Except we really don't even have that. We have a hd antenna hooked up to our tv. But, half the time we can't get all the basic channels. We can usually get fox and sometimes we can get NBC, CBS, and ABC. So we have resorted to watching things on hulu. I would say our tv watching time has been cut at least in half and probably more. We now play with Noah more, take walks, read, and just spend time together. Is it frustrating sometimes? Yep, especially when there's a sporting event you really want to watch. But do the pros outweigh the cons? You bet they do:)
